Toronto, June 23, 2020: intelliHR, an Australian HR technology business, is bringing its next-generation cloud-based people management and data analytics platform to Toronto. The company selected Toronto as a strategic expansion location in North America to support its existing and future international customers around the clock.
intelliHR’s strategic SaaS product helps its customers create a culture based on continuous feedback and gives leaders real-time insights and visibility over employees. The company aims to become an essential core platform for every business, adding value through the automation of traditionally manual HR processes, while capturing critical people and performance data not typically available or visible to businesses today.
At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, intelliHR released its free COVID-19 Essentials HR Platform to support the international HR community. The platform was built to help HR lead the transition from office to remote and back again, with built-in policy templates, feedback tools and automated employee workflows. This response saw a massive global uptake of the platform, with over 150 companies on the platform from 18 different countries.
intelliHR had several reasons for choosing Toronto, including a world-renowned community of innovation; a local talent pool of highly skilled professionals; proximity to key markets; and the fact that the region’s sense of community and values align seamlessly with the company culture. intelliHR worked closely with Toronto Global, a team of experienced business advisors assisting global businesses to expand into the Toronto Region.
“Our business has recently undergone tremendous growth, doubling our Annual Recurring Revenue year-on-year,” said Robert Bromage, CEO and Founder, intelliHR. “We’re looking forward to the next stage, which is to scale our expansion globally. The warmth, support and access to world class thought leaders when visiting has reinforced our decision to choose Toronto as our North American headquarters. We’re looking forward to setting up our base within a region that shares our values of openness and innovation.”
COVID-19 has meant intelliHR has had to adapt its strategy, but the company has already moved ahead with employing two people locally in Toronto to drive growth, and plans to continue expanding the local team over the coming months, once travel restrictions are lifted.
“I am very pleased that intelliHR has chosen to locate its new office in our city,” said Toronto Mayor John Tory. “Toronto is a magnet for companies around the world due to our highly-skilled, diverse and innovative workforce. Right now, our region is fighting the global pandemic and intelliHR’s arrival will help our city as we work to restart and rebuild the economy.”
